FRTC names Mr. Mike Eckstine as the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Program Manager. Mr. Eckstine is a former U.S. Army Ranger and long time Paramedic in Colorado. FRTC is proud to welcome Mr. Eckstine as he has come up through the ranks as a former Instructor for medical training course that FRTC has offered. Mr. Eckstine will oversee all Medical Courses and their respective training for both Tactical and Civilian programs.

FRTC is awarded contract to provide TCCC training and Tactical Team Leader Development to the Indianapolis and Morgan County joint SWAT teams. Training will take place in September in Indianapolis, IN.

FRTC completes the 28 day Combat Lifesaver Training for the 81st Brigade of the Washington National Guard. The training took place in Yakima, WA where 600 soldiers went through 8 evolutions of the 3 Day Combat Lifesaver course. FRTC successfully trained, tested, and provided Final day FTXs for 75 soldiers in each evolution. As part of the program and training, FRTC provided special effects and scenario based exercises to the soldiers on their final FTX. FRTC is proud that all participants passed the course and participated in all levels of practical application scenarios. FRTC utilized its Mobile Training Team (MTT) concept and brought in 10 Instructor Cadre from Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Washington, and Kentucky.

FRTC successfully completes training for 1st RECON Battalion and 25 Marines in Camp Pendleton. FRTC taught the 5-day Explosive Breacher course all 25 Marines successfully completed the course as more than 100 exercises were executed during the training. FRTC was able to utilize its Mobile Training Team (MTT) concept to deliver high caliber Instructor Cadre for the duration of this course. Instructors from Tennessee, Florida, and Colorado participated in the course instruction.

FRTC is awarded a contract to provide Combat Lifesaver training to the Washington National Guard’s 81st Brigade and 600 of their soldiers in their preparation for Pre-Deployment training in Yakima, Washington.

FRTC is awarded contract to provide an Urban Explosives Breacher course to 1st RECON Battalion, USMC at Camp Pendleton in California.
