The Warrior Training Alliance (WTA) led by Raytheon Company, in collaboration with Computer Sciences Corporation and General Dynamics Information Technology, has started moving forward with improving the readiness and effectiveness of soldiers through the consolidation of its live, virtual and constructive training support contracts. The contract carries an estimated total program value of $11.2 billion over a 10-year period.

“The WTA is ready and will ensure training continuity to provide a smooth contract transition,” said Richard R. Yuse, a Raytheon vice president and Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC president.

The WTA provides integrated turnkey, lifecycle training services and support worldwide. Work performed by the WTA includes: support for training exercises and operations; maintenance for all training and range systems; curriculum development and instruction; management oversight and administration for contractor activities; and supply support for all government-owned property and material.

The WTA offers innovative and demonstrated support solutions. The team provides a hub for seamless training support integration that uses effective communication and information technologies and cost-efficiencies for soldier readiness anytime, anywhere.

The WTA is an alliance of member companies dedicated to providing integrated training support to the warfighter. WTA has proven, current and relevant experience across all training environments and a comprehensive approach to delivering integrated support for the live, virtual and constructive environments.

Live training is conducted in a physical environment such as a firing range or maneuver area.

Virtual training takes place using simulators to create realistic training experiences.

Constructive training uses computer models and game-like simulations.

FRTC Receives Approval from BUMED

FRTC receives Letter of Approval from the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), Department of the Navy. This approval for FRTC’s Advanced Tactical Medical Training program provides protocol compliance through the Veterinary Affairs office and applies to the courses that are being offered to all branches of the United States Military.

FRTC Asked to Support DoJ/FBI in Iraq

FRTC is asked to provide Instructors to return to Baghdad in support of a DoJ/FBI effort training Iraqi SWAT Officers. The team is expected to depart after the first of the year and remain in Baghdad for two months.

FRTC Provides PSD Training to Boulder and Longmont, CO SWAT

FRTC provides Personal Security Detail training for both Boulder County and Longmont Police Department SWAT teams in preparation for the Democratic National Convention. Over 35 officers participated in the training that covered Dignitary Protection, Vehicle Movement, and Reconnaissance. FRTC’s Mobile Training Team (MTT) concept was employed and the training was brought directly to the departments participating at a hosted site.

FRTC Successfully Completes LEO TCCC & Tac Team Leader Training in Indianapolis, IN

FRTC successfully completes TCCC training and Tactical Team Leader Development course for the Indianapolis SWAT team and adjacent agencies in Indianapolis, IN. The courses were taught over a 5 day period with both organizations rotating through the different elements of training and also participating in joint exercises. The course was delivered by 8 Instructor Cadre under FRTC’s Mobile Training Team (MTT) concept that was brought in from Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Washington, and Tennessee. Over 30 officers participated in the 5 day course and all of them successfully completed the program.

FRTC Names Mr. Mike Eckstine as the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Program Manager

FRTC names Mr. Mike Eckstine as the Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Program Manager. Mr. Eckstine is a former U.S. Army Ranger and long time Paramedic in Colorado. FRTC is proud to welcome Mr. Eckstine as he has come up through the ranks as a former Instructor for medical training course that FRTC has offered. Mr. Eckstine will oversee all Medical Courses and their respective training for both Tactical and Civilian programs.

FRTC is awarded contract to provide TCCC training and Tactical Team Leader Development to the Indianapolis and Morgan County joint SWAT teams. Training will take place in September in Indianapolis, IN.
